Who Am I?
I’ve recently undergone a drastic change in my life…after 25 years as an air traffic controller I retired at the end of July. I’m still figuring out what I want to be after all those years of working for someone else.
I’ve loved travel and everything that goes with it for as long as I can remember. I’ve traveled all around the world – mostly active, adventure travel. I’ve run a marathon (26.2 miles, 42 km) on all 7 continents, and trekked/hiked in many more places. Kayaking the LeMaire Channel in Antarctica,elephant riding in the jungle of northern Thailand, winetasting in South Australia (ok, not too adventurous, but so much fun!); just a few examples of the fun I’ve had around the world.
When I’m not traveling I’ll be at home in my kitchen. 
First off, I’m going to start cooking my way through those cookbooks! ————>
I also teach Pilates and Barre classes at Engage Your Core and am working on my Pilates instructor certification. And after a too-long hiatus I’m starting back on the road to long-distance running. NYC Marathon 2012 here I come!

I almost never leave a response, however i did some searching and wound up here About me NancysTravels. And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you don’t mind. Is it only me or does it give the impression like a few of these remarks look like coming from brain dead individuals? 😛 And, if you are posting on other online social sites, I would like to follow everything new you have to post. Would you make a list of every one of all your shared pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
I believe what you published made a bunch of sense. However, consider this, suppose you were to write a awesome post title? I am not suggesting your content isn’t good., however what if you added a title to maybe get a person’s attention? I mean About me NancysTravels is a little plain. You should glance at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create news headlines to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab people interested about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little bit more interesting.
