Guest Post At Got Saga: Offbeat Newburyport

on March 23, 2011

I recently was asked to write a guest post for GotSaga about my adopted hometown of Newburyport, MA.  I so love living here and was thrilled to be able to share a bit of it with the GotSaga readers.  I had a ball coming up with some of my favorite places to include and even discovered a few more that I wasn’t so familiar with.  An excerpt:

If quintessential New England coastal beauty is what you’re after, look no further than Newburyport, Massachusetts. Located about 35 miles north of Boston (and there’s train service ), this charming city was once a ship building hub; hence it’s nickname ‘Clipper City’. Nowadays enjoy it’s first-rate dining, unique boutiques and many outdoor diversions.

The piece in it’s entirety can be found HERE
